On November 11, 1980, the former Reithalle was used for the first time by the Kulturwerkstatt and Basel theater professionals - today, the Kaserne Basel is a central venue for contemporary culture. Internationally networked, locally anchored, space for residencies, festivals, up-and-coming and established artists. A meeting place - for Basel and far beyond. Cheers to 45 years!
